Lorna Boschman is a media artist who collaborates in community. From her earliest documentary Scars (1986), through collaborations with Vancouver artists Kiss & Tell (1992-2002), the self-advocate community (2000, 2006), and digital storytelling mentorship supporting a lesbian living with metastatic cancer in just being (2015), Lorna’s provocative approach to media creation has illuminated numerous hidden stories beneath visible layers.

Lorna designed a digital storytelling workshop for the research study Cancer’s Margins. She was the Vancouver Mayor’s 2016 Arts Award honoree for Film & New Media and chose Sebnem Ozpeta as the 2016 Emerging Artist for Film & New Media.

Sebnem Ozpeta is a Vancouver-based visual artist, video editor, and videographer. She studied graphic design in Turkey, where she was born and raised.
